Structural Repairs

If your painting is torn, cracked, or the paint is beginning to lift off the surface, SB Conservation can provide the necessary repairs. Small to medium sized tears can be carefully re-welded, rewoven, or patched with the appropriate method. Cracking or broken panel paintings can be expertly treated. Larger tears in canvas paintings may require a lining applied to the back of the painting prior to making the repairs.
